Yeovil Town U19

Yeovil Town U19

The Yeovil Town Under-19s represent the club at the highest level of its academy pathway, providing talented young players with the opportunity to combine full-time football training with education while developing within a professional club environment.

The team competes in the National League U19 Alliance, facing academy sides from National League and non-league clubs across the country. Alongside league fixtures, the Young Glovers also compete in competitions such as the National League U19 Alliance League Cup and other academy tournaments.

Player Development Pathway
The Under-19s programme forms part of Yeovil Town’s Football and Education Scholarship, offering players the chance to train regularly, study for qualifications such as a BTEC Level 3 in Sport, and experience the demands of a professional football environment.

Players benefit from a structured coaching programme aligned with the club’s playing philosophy, as well as specialist support including strength and conditioning, goalkeeper training, and competitive match schedules against other academies. The programme is designed to prepare players for progression into senior football, whether at Yeovil Town or elsewhere in the football pyramid.

The Young Glovers
Based in Yeovil and training in a professional environment linked to Huish Park, the Under-19s squad represents the next generation of talent within the club. The team provides a vital bridge between grassroots development and the senior game, giving young players the opportunity to develop technically, tactically, and physically while representing the Yeovil Town badge with pride.
